Moreno Quattrociocchi was born in Veroli, a town in central Italy near Rome. He graduated in 2024 from the University of Art in Zurich. After completing his studies, he continued his practice through painting and textile.
Quattrociocchi's work unfolds as a quiet balance between structure and spontaneity. His compositions revolve around recurring figures: horses, riders, animals, and ornamental landscapes that seem to emerge rather than fully settle. Forms remain open, gestures fluid, as if each image is still in the process of becoming.
Alongside painting, his textile works extend this language into a more tactile dimension. Through texture and relief, familiar motifs take on a physical presence, inviting a different kind of closeness and attention.
At the heart of his practice lies a dialogue between memory and invention.
There is a sense of movement throughout, paired with a subtle stillness, where repetition and variation create a gentle tension.
Moving between elegance and rawness, figuration and abstraction, control and freedom, Quattrociocchi builds a body of work that remains open and intuitive. It is an invitation to linger, to recognize something without fully naming it, and to experience the image as a space rather than a statement.
